Coach Breinholt was born with a love of water and started swimming competitively at a young age. Through her years of swimming she has developed a deep appreciation for the discipline, perseverance, and teamwork that swimming teaches and is dedicated to passing those values on to the next generation of athletes.
A graduate of Hunter High School, Coach Breinholt went on to swim for the University of Utah, where she further developed her knowledge of technique, training, and competitive racing.
For more than 30 years, Coach Breinholt has taught swim lessons and coached swimmers of all ages and abilities, from beginners learning water safety to competitive athletes striving for personal bests. She believes every swimmer has the potential to improve with quality instruction, consistent effort, and a supportive team environment.
As the head coach of the Viewmont High School Swim Team, Coach Breinholt is committed to developing technically skilled, confident, and resilient swimmers. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes strong fundamentals, race strategy, accountability, leadership, and creating a positive team culture where every athlete feels valued.
Coach Breinholt believes that success extends beyond race results. She strives to help swimmers build confidence, character, and lifelong habits that will serve them both in and out of the pool. Her goal is to create an environment where athletes work hard, support one another, and discover what they are capable of achieving.
